Hi everyone, how are you all :)? I'm 24 and have always had dry/sensitive skin. Although if I keep it moisturized, it's perfectly fine. I've never been able to stick with one routine because it either doesn't work for me or it does in the beginning but then something goes wrong after. Right now I'm using L'Occitaine's Angelica line and it works great and my face was smooth and bouncy for the longest time. I also use a peeling gel and face masks throughout the week that gives me this extra glow.
But about a month ago, I started getting a little breakout on my left cheek and it's not very noticable but it won't go away. My right side is perfectly fine and it's not because of my pillow because I sleep on my right side (plus I wash the sheets regularly). My face is hydrated and I don't have any pimples or breakouts anywhere else expect that small area.
I've been looking into trying out Clinique for awhile now but after doing some research, found that it strips your skin and makes it dependent on the brand, they also test on animals. Clarins is a little pricier but uses a lot of plant extracts and doesn't test on animals. There's Shu Uemura that's been creating a lot of buzz recently even though they've been around for a long time. It's a Japanese brand so I thought it might cater to Asians a little better.
Any of you have experience with these brands? Or have some other ones that I should check out? Thanks!
