Just curious and how you deal with your hair?
Hi peeps! I'm new to Soompi and I thought I would post my first thread here!Anyway, I'm wondering if there are any Soompiers or any other Asians you know who has naturally curly or very wavy hair? I just happen to be one of them. (I apparently seem to be the only person in my family with such hair). Apparently, many of my friends asked me if I had gotten a perm to curl my hair and I usually respond with "Never. Au Naturelle".
I had a lot of problems dealing with frizz and its poofiness few years back. Not even the perm hair straightener would work on me and I think it damaged my hair badly. But I've started to learn to manage my hair and it's been looking much much better now.
After shower, I just use pure aloe vera gel and this special curling cream I got in this salon in Pasadena, CA to style my damp hair and control the frizz. Guess what? It works!! I also NEVER brush my hair!! I also use the Aussie Miracle 3 Minute Deep Treatment as my deep conditioner about few times each month because my hair can dry out. I had thought about getting Brazilian Blowout, but I decided against it.
